I’m Amalia.

I’m a loud talker and inveterate pasta eater. I love sci fi movies and going to the Oregon coast when I’m sad. I am an open book and a big heart.

Born and bred in Portland, I’ve travelled to 16 countries, many of which I lived in for months at a time volunteering, bartending, or doing nothing much at all.

In my youth I was a competitive equestrian (the cool kind that jumps over things). I was also a shameless theater kid, starring as the title role in “Annie” among other shrill high school renditions of broadway classics.

Before discovering my calling as a strategist, I spent 5 years serving nonprofits through podcast and radio production, event coordination, and ethnographic research (the academic kind).

Nowadays, my happiest moments are spent hiking with my partner and two dogs, paddling PNW waters, and warming my hands by campfire.
